Liability Waiver & Safety Disclosure
Please read this safety disclosure carefully before participating in any Virtual Reality (VR) activities at VR World.
Virtual reality experiences involve full-body movement, advanced technology simulation, and intense visual and auditory stimuli. By purchasing a ticket, reserving a package, or entering our simulation arena, all participants (and parents/guardians of minors) acknowledge and agree to the following safety guidelines.
Physical and Health Risks
Visual Stimuli & Seizures: Our experiences include flashing lights, rapid graphics, and intense visual sequences. Individuals prone to photosensitive epilepsy or seizures should consult a physician before playing.
Motion Sickness & Vertigo: Immersive simulations can occasionally cause temporary motion sickness, dizziness, disorientation, or vertigo. If you experience discomfort at any point, remove your headset immediately and alert a staff member.
Physical Surroundings: Players will be moving while wearing a completely occluded headset. Participants must remain within their designated station boundaries and follow all staff safety commands to avoid accidental collisions.
Rules of Conduct
Participants agree to handle all VR headsets, controllers, and simulation tracking equipment with care. Damage caused by reckless behavior or failure to follow staff rules may result in financial liability.
Age Requirements: Children must be of a size and age capable of safely wearing and operating the hardware. Parent/guardian supervision is required at all times for minors.
Agreement of Release
By participating, you acknowledge that you are voluntarily engaging in physical entertainment activities and assume all risks of injury, illness, or property damage. A complete, legally binding digital or physical liability waiver must be signed by every participant (or legal guardian) upon checking in at our Toms River location before play begins.
